When traveling outside the United States, you won’t (or shouldn’t) get too far past TSA or customs without a valid passport. Fortunately, renewing your passport is now easier than ever, thanks to the U.S. Department of State offering an online renewal option. If you don’t qualify for online renewal or prefer a traditional method, you can still renew your passport by mail.
