  • Antarctica – Medical coverage is mandatory to travel to Antarctica, the only continent on this list, but the coverage level requirements depend on the tour company. Our Preferred and Premium plans generally meet these requirements.

  • Argentina - U.S. travelers to the country are required to be covered by "COVID-19 medical insurance."

  • British Virgin Islands - Proof of travel insurance with coverage for COVID-19 medical costs, medical repatriation, and quarantine accommodation costs is required for entry.
  • Cayman Islands - 
  • Chile - Visitors must have medical insurance with a minimum coverage of $30,000 that includes coverage of any expense caused by COVID-19.

  • Ecuador – Requires all visitors to have health insurance that will cover them in Ecuador.

  • Fiji - 
  • Israel - All visitors are required to have travel insurance with coverage for COVID-19 treatment.

  • Jordan - All visitors are required to have travel insurance that includes coverage for medical treatment.

  • Phliippines - U.S. visitors musthave "travel or medical Insurance with COVID-19 treatment, and with minimum coverage of $35,000" to enter the country.

  • Singapore - All travelers are required to have travel insurance that includes a minimum of $30,000 of medical coverage for COVID-19 treatment.

  • Thailand - All visitors must provide a health insurance policy with an insured amount of at least $20,000 covering treatment for COVID-19. 

  • Turkey – Medical insurance that will cover you in Turkey is required to acquire a visa to enter the country, and U.S. citizens need a visa.

  • United Arab Emirates – U.S. residents need proof of travel insurance in order to stay in the country for more than 30 days and depending on where you travel, such as Dubai, you may need a certain amount of travel insurance medical coverage. A new requirement due to the Coronavirus pandemic states that U.S. citizens are required to “obtain international health insurance for the entire duration of travel” in the UAE.
